Due to fast globalization and the possibility to get to every place in the world in less time, people want to have authentic and individualized experiences while spending their spare time. The preservation and promotion of their landscape and culture for developing sustainable touristic structures will be important for European regions and its embedded local areas. That can also be a chance for supporting the diversification of regional economies.
Join us in Fitou from April 4th – 8th 2011 by taking part in the course “All is linked together in the web – How to communicate, manage and learn“. We’ll bring together teachers, trainers, managers and non-educational staff from around Europe to share experiences, try new tools and learn new methods.
The course is listed under reference number FR-2010-318-001 in the Comenius-Grundtvig Training Database
Most of the time, I really like what I do but sometimes, I feel a bit privileged, when I go to work, such as today. I started early in the morning to meet Cecile from Domaine Revelh. The one hour drive from Fitou to Cassagnes, where she lives, really impressed me. It’s just a gorgeous landscape, with thousands fragrances and fantastic views.
As you probably might know, I love old houses. I love to unearth the little secrets hidden in a house, explore how it was built, the materials used and of course, I love to restore it. It was obvious to create a European project out of this love and so I did. I wrote down the idea and searched for partners in Europe who might be interested in doing that project.
I was not really excited to go to Timisoara at this time of the year because of the cold weather, but the perspective meeting good old colleague-friends kept me warm.
We came together for a doing2learn project meeting, sharing our work we have done, difficulties we had and still have and discussed how to proceed.
